Keiko Sugisaka is a member of Maslon's Litigation Group and focuses her practice primarily in the areas of Business and Intellectual Property Litigation. She has broad experience litigating both plaintiff and defense cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States involving complex litigation in cases that included patent infringement, antitrust, director/officer liability, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition and breach of contract claims. 

Prior to joining Maslon, Keiko was an Assistant Attorney General in the Minnesota Attorney General's Office where she represented the State of Minnesota enforcing laws regulating nonprofit corporations, management of charitable assets and litigating high-profile matters such as health care audits, insurance industry investigations and fraud cases. She also served as judicial clerk to Justice Alan C. Page of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Keiko earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and earned her bachelor's degree cum laude from Macalester College.
