- Worked with a developer to acquire and develop the former Sears Tower in Minneapolis, Minnesota, addressing predevelopment leasing, title, and environmental issues negotiated with the City of Minneapolis.
- Represented a national bank in the acquisition of numerous sites for bank development, including redevelopment sites needing environmental cleanup.
- Represented a commercial greenhouse operator in obtaining necessary land use entitlements and environmental reviews, including rezonings and conditional use permits for expansion of existing commercial greenhouse operations and new site acquisitions.
- Represent a client in the acquisition, financing and leasing of major industrial centers throughout the western suburbs of the Twin Cities.
- Coordinated real estate transfers in many complex business acquisitions and mergers, including title, survey and environmental due diligence involving numerous sites.
- Represent both buyers and sellers in the transfer of commercial properties of all sizes and types.
- Represented the purchaser of a large retail center in obtaining appropriate governmental letters from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency regarding existing hazardous waste under the center.
- Worked with developers to obtain city, county and state approvals for development of a large residential project constructed over a former landfill, including negotiations with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for environmental protections.
