Maslon Attorney Terri Krivosha to Serve on Panel of Experts at Upcoming International Institute for Women Entrepreneurs Event

Maslon Attorney Terri Krivosha will serve on a panel of experts at the upcoming International Institute for Women Entrepreneurs event titled "Equity Matters: Where's the Money?" The half-day educational event will take place on November 15, 2007 at the College of St. Catherine in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and will offer women entrepreneurs an introduction to the equity markets.

Employing the expertise of local entrepreneurs, investors and attorneys, the program gives attendees inside information about what's involved in raising equity capital, what investors look for in a business investment and what resources are available in the community to assist businesses in preparing for and finding an appropriate investor.

The International Institute for Women Entrepreneurs (IIWE) at the The College of St. Catherine is the only organization of its kind that has been created by, for and about women entrepreneurs. The Institute focuses on three vitally important needs of women in business:

  • To help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses
  • To address the professional & personal development of women entrepreneurs
  • To prepare St. Catherine's diverse student population for careers in entrepreneurship through coursework, internships, and professional development opportunities.
