Maslon Attorney David Herr Quoted on E-Discovery in National Law Journal

Maslon Attorney David Herr provided commentary on E-discovery for an article published in the National Law Journal on October 8, 2007. The article, titled "States Launching E-Discovery Rules," addresses the challenge facing today's attorneys in trying to manage the newly adopted electronic discovery rules by the state court systems with an expanding range of cases.

Herr speaks to the potential price tag for producing electronically stored documents, saying "The amount of data could be huge." He also comments on the potential for parties to serve discovery requests simply to see if there's an occurrence of some spoliation of evidence.
