Attorney James Duffy O'Connor presented The 2007 AIA Documents: New Forms, New Issues, New Strategies (ABA Forum on the Construction Industry Mid-Winter Meeting). The event took place Thursday, January 31, 2008, in New York, New York and on Thursday, February 7, 2008, in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. O'Connor presented in Session I titled What & Why: An Overview. The segment addressed what may be the most controversial and challenging of the revisions to the 2007 A201 General Conditions Document. Topics included: the "Initial Decision Maker" Concept; "Checkbox" Dispute Resolution Methods; Consolidation and Joinder of Parties and Disputes; 10-year Contractual Repose Period Owner "Self-Help" Remedies.
